Welcome

Welcome to the website of Josh Szkoda. I've created this website in order to run my own blog, articles will be varied in topic and some may take offence to some of the opinions expressed therein, so you enter this website prewarned, that I do not care for political correctness and I do like a rant.

My website is a work in progress and will form into something, perhaps, over the next short while. I do write to my blog quite often, so feel free to read that. Oh, you can also register to recieve updates when something new is posted and will save you time having to pop back on a regular basis.

If you care to know a little about me then please do feel free to look at the 'about me' page via the link located on this page.

Any comments, queries, concerns or suggestions can be sent to me via the contact details availible on my contact page. If, however, you are a Gordon Brown fan and are writing to express your concerns for my distaste, please feel free to contemplate all possible meanings of "silent as the grave" before emailing in your much appreciated concern.

All the best,

Josh Szkoda

Updates

19th November 2008: Finally, there is a form you can use to contact me located on the contact page. So for those of you that aren't fans of emailing, you can now fill in three text areas and get your comments across. It's good to finally get it done and hopefully we shall have more functionality added to the site in the coming weeks. Since I last wrote to this homepage, there have been two blog posts which have had quite an audience looking at visitor statistics. I'm having a great time writing for you, so thank you again for reading the blog.

16th November 2008: It's been a while, hasn't it. The site has been somewhat neglected by myself and I'm finally getting back around to writing again. Last week saw my first blog post for quite a while and with any luck there should be another one up and availible in the next couple of days. A lot of my rants and writings these days are directed in the way of motoring and such topics, I haven't really had any feedback about it as yet, so if you do or don't like what you read, drop me an email perhaps explaining in which directions I should write still? I do thank those of you that read this website on a regular basis, I know from my statistics that I do have a fair few loyalists, and it's much appreciated.

7th October 2008: I've created a petition to abolish speed cameras placed on roads where national speed limit applies. Cameras, according to the government, are sited for safety and not for profit - yet we still have speed cameras and time gates on motorways, dual carriage ways and country roads. Why? Well, they make the government a lot of money. Stalin Brown thinks it's appropriate to charge you £60 a time for accidentally doing 80 on a dual carriage way. On the fourth time of catching you he takes your license and you might possibly lose your job: making our economy suffer even more than even the blithering idiot he is could. I urge you to sign this petition and get anyone who will listen to you to sign it too. It's located here: http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/nospeedinnsl/

24th September 2008: Josh has decided to take a new stance on global warming and carbon charities:

Just what we think of them!

Well, sort of boring perhaps and I'm sure it's nothing none of you couldn't have predicted, but I'm bored and it's a mini laugh if nothing else. The blog continues to grow, so continue to read!

10th Septmber 2008: Well now, I've been running this website for approximatley a month and things seem to be going well. The site attracts approximatley 50 viewers a day and it continues to grow, so I'd like to thank you all for your support of both the website and my blog, I promise to keep you somewhat entertained over the next few months and hopefully into the deeper future, providing Dr Frankenstein with his collider machine doesn't kill us first.

A new addition has also been made to my blog. Readers now have the ability to "digg" posts if they so wish. Digging is an important method of feedback for two reasons, firstly it shows me what the audience want to read more of and, secondly, it shows new readers what the best stuff is without having to read through every article, as a 'top 5' will be displayed on the right hand navigation bar.

9th Septmber 2008: I've recieved my first legal threat. Those of you who saw my blog post shaming a certain individual should know that he has threatened me with legal action. Despite the fact that no law has been broken, he remains adamant that the UK is a province of Canada and therefore he can apply Canadian law to me. What a clever chappy. He even wrote a complaint to my ISP saying, and I quote: "...my international human rights have been breached". He has been told that he will get what he wants when he removes the material he stole from me, until then, folks, looks like I best start work on a legal threats page, so you can all have a look and a giggle.
